Today was my mother's birthday, and I and my brother did the same thing as we did for my father with father's day. We designed something unique for her smartphone case. It was hard to get this done in time, due to my finals last week, but I got it done right in time. It arrived one day before her actual birthday >:3Anyway, this is a tree swallow, or well, something based on it
My mother loves birds, and I feel like this swallow represents her well. Also, making nightskies is awesome when you have a tablet XD

YES! Now that's the stuff.
Beautiful colors and excellent shading.
Very nice wing though feathers have a tendency to point ever so slightly towards the body of the bird.
I also am very fond of the large amount space around the bird, it actually makes it stand out more.
To sum it up: this is easily one of your best one to date, keep up the good work

Ooh, so pretty, and tree swallows are one of my favorite kinds of birds! I love the lighting and shading -- it really shows off the tree swallow's beautiful color, and the feathers are drawn and textured very nicely. I also like your choice of background: the horizontal highlight behind the tree swallow's pose (both horizontal and vertical) creates a lot of movement, and I can totally imagine it flying away with a dusting of sparkles.
