Description
My dragon character, Lanzarus! Some of you might remember him as a more traditional looking dragon, but I have been thinking about redesigning him for a while and I think I might settle with this aquatic design. He was inspired by sea turtles, mosasaurs and plesiosaurs. This sketch and future other sketches will be posted on my new Instagram account, which I will mainly use as a sketchbook for my fictional world, Zoraya. Well looks who's back, never thought I'd see Lanzarus again
Very nice colors, but there's something with the upper beak that just feels a bit off. I think it might bee because I expect a hooked beak since all his teeth are curved inwards.
I think you've kept enough of his old design to still make him recognizable as Lanzarus, I look forwards to seeing the rest of his body.

I wouldn't be able to ditch him, he's my baby ;3
Hmm, you've got a good point with the beak. I might try out some other sketches to see if a hooked beak would work better on him. I kind of tried to combine the dinosaur-snout with a turtle one, but that wouldn't be too practical I can imagine.
Thanks, Camel ^^
