I've used this same basic BG over and over, trees and buildings, such a cheap way to add depth. My excuse this time is that I didn't spend enough time on the drawing (obviously) to warrant any time spent on the BG. (Also I cheated on the buildings this time)Just a simple winter picture for pixiv~ thought I'd upload it here because. I'm not going to say happy new year yadda yadda my year was so great because frankly my year completely sucked, but anyways! Will scrap later~

Well I'm glad you posted this here otherwise I would have missed it! I think your character Kota is really cute 
I feel ya since I've had a lot of crappy years recently... a lot. Even if one has good things happen, it doesn't matter much when the most improtant things in one's life are off balanced (at least for me that's how it's been). I've never been big on "new year" stuff or it's tradition to the point the holiday really means nothing... but overall I never saw it as a time to reflect back, but a new start that doesn't have to be the same as before.

Awww don't scrap it, it's cute! I really love the way you colored it and the use of light. ( I have a cat with those eyes, lol.) Keep your chin up friend, this year will hopefully be a much better one for you ^^
