So, I found this new program/app called "reface" that allows for all kinds of things to be done, including the mapping of faces onto others. Now hear me out. You know in the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian where a certain Jedi shows up? (And if you haven't seen this, SPOILERS!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC9aOM… This program/app is similar to that, in that it allows a face to be "replaced" or "refaced" as they call it.

Now the neat thing about this is you can get pictures to do things like move and talk, sing etc, but also it allows for, in the case of 3D characters such as Lady Quantum, to get a better idea of what they would actually look like if they were truly human, because instead of the face being on a 3D mesh model "dummy" and then being animated to move, the face is being mapped onto a human face that is already moving. What you get is a very realistic approximation of what the 3D character would look like as a living person. It's uncanny. I chose to show you a runway model version because it shows different angles of her face and a couple of different expressions, but mainly her wonderful smile that remained intact.

Now as much as I would like to take credit for finding this gem, I'm not. Edheldil3D is the one who I discovered it from, and if you haven't been to his page then you should, because he's brilliant! Not only is he talented, but his art is funny, with a cast of characters that are almost like family. Go watch him now!
