Yup! Just in time for Christmas, my cohorts and I are doing some crazy nostalgic stuff!OverPower Cards!
If you're a comic book geek you probably heard of this card game back in the '90s trying to keep up with Magic: the Gathering. Obviously it didn't, however, it still to this day has a loyal fanbase, who makes and rereleases older cards and even new sets so that the fun of the game can still be had. That being said, I have created my own templates in Photoshop, and have begun creating cards like the one above for the personal enjoyment of myself, and others. This one features artwork from the fabulous that I had gotten a couple years back, and really, it's just a fun time to be had.
If you need one of these kind of cards for your OC character for Christmas, I'll be taking commissions at a $25 sale price (unless I don't have your character, then I have to charge an extra $15 to create the character) until the 23rd of December (2019) so I can HOPEFULLY get any of them that get ordered done in time for Christmas.

Talk about a blast from the past. I was pretty much one out of three guys in my area who played a bit of OverPower. I didn't hate the game, but sure as hell it was clunky.

Really cool character card of you, I hope you get a bunch of commissions... sounds like a very reasonable/cheap price for original character creations. Don't know if you remember me, we talked a while back about Octane and lighting... you were trying to find a way to increase the realism of your character renders. I just really wanted to say WOW and congratulations on really reaching that goal. Your quality of recent figures you've rendered has shot up drastically, it's incredible improvement in such a short time. Did you change anything in particular, like the texture sets/materials you were using? I should've mentioned that to you to begin with, as such an important key component to boost quality and level of realism. Finding and using the best textures you can find from adifferent character makes all the difference in the world. I guess you figured this out it appears... also your lighting and postwork may be playing a key role if those are things you improved a lot on recently.
Your images "Monotober Smooth" and also especially "Cooling Up or Heating Down" stand out tremendously. So I'm very curious what changes/improvements you made that have had such a drastic difference? I do a lot of texture work myself, typically make changes to all the maps or create brand new ones myself in photoshop prior to using them on a character in a render. I also do a lot of original sculpting nowadays with Zbrush. Hope you're doing well at the moment, and feel as good as you look in your artwork

As to finding better textures, I actually found something out about how DAZ is doing things with it’s models that could be making a difference. (I know it did for me.)
When turning on the HD for models such as G3F/V7 the model has to be at a rendering SubD of 3 or higher or the HD effects won’t show up. On top of that I’ve found that on many of the characters being created they are adding a percentage to teeth realism HD, and a skin realism HD. Not only do these slow down rendering, but it causes the model’s skin to look too pocketed like the normal maps are turned up too high. It’s better to turn this off (zero it) and rely on fine tuning the normal map by hand for the correct skin effects.
This may have been something you already knew, so please don’t count me as a fool, but it’s quite eye opening how big a difference it has made for me. I’ve also been using a filter in Photoshop that helps with the hair realism by making it more fluffy.
