Personality:

Animus has quite the cocky attitude and believes himself to be quite the ladies man despite his nearly guaranteed to fail attempts at being so. Animus has a very laid back attitude and isnt quick to anger but is more than willing to antagonize a fight with some snippy passive aggressive comments. He enjoys working on his custom energy swords in his spare time and is an excellent medic. Animus is very patient and gets a large amount of entertaining with flirting with any female that will hold still long enough to chat with him.

Backstory:
When Animus was young he happened to come across Jesala who had just escaped from a brute attack on her home. Taking the young scared sangheili back to his hold his parents agreed to adopt her since she had no where else to go and Animus and Jesala grew up together as close siblings. When the day came Animus had to leave to join the covenant Jesala was quite disappointed to see her brother leave. Years passed and he wrote when he could to keep in contact with family but during his training he was face with a kill ordered that he refused to complete. The other sangheili may not have liked humans but that wasnt a reason to kill innocent beings. Being face with insubordination if he stayed Animus slipped off the ship and disappeared to the nearest colony planet where he learned to become a skilled medic. Animus couldnt count the years it had been since he last contacted his sister and family. A group of insurrectionists attacked the colony he was staying in and luckily enough a UNSC ship coasted by and detected their distress signal. During the firefight Animus came face to face with one of the so called 'demons' or Spartans but was quite shocked when the Spartan seemed to already know him. Later he discovered the spartan was crazily enough his sister who had survived quite the turn of events in her life trying to find him
