Description
As you can see, this are my concepts for a live action movie of Sailor Moon. This are some quick sketchs of the ideas I had about updating the original Sailor senshi's fukus and looks. I took reference from real sailor uniforms and costumes, and I though that I could enfatise their personalitys by making a singular fukus for each one.Also, I tryed to make them look more "realistic" than the anime style, so you can figure, more or less, how it could look on a real person.
If you wonder, I make many changes on Makoto's (Sailor Jupiter) aparience not only to make her look toughest, but 'cause I wanted to put some personal fetishes on my favorite character
I hope you like it, and more important, that you comment and critique my work so I can improve it, for a final group picture.
I'll be uploading the outer scouts soon!

I like the outfit designs but I have to say I like the hair concept the best. Mainly bc you claim these are your ideas of a live action... And this makes sense. A headband with the front of Mina's hair pulled back. Ami's is kinda punk. And usagi has pompom barrets in her pigtails.

Oh! I really like Mercury's little shorts... Although the ruffle in the back is a little out of place looking to me.
And I love Jupiter's design! The low skirt looks great.
They look just a little bit more like western superheros this way.

I really do like your redesign of the girls. Your outfits are a fresh and modern (not to mention realistic) take on the traditional sailor uniform.
Venus and Moon are my favorites (though i do love Mercury's boy shorts and Jupiter's skort are simply awesome). I think Venus might need a different top if she's going to have such a high-waisted skirt but this is your design, not mine.
As a whole, awesome job! I can't wait to see more like it!
