Description
ok so this is my entry for this month's contest Swords and Sorcery [link] closeup of rianon wipok so the characters
rianon
female
sorceress
age looks to be in her mid 20's
height 5'6 brown eyes blonde hair
hemendra
male shapeshifter
human form 6'1 black hair gold eyes looks to be early 20's
elemant water
warrior
lawful good
800 years old
rianon is very opertuntic and will only do things that benfit her, hemendra choses to help others wither or not there is any benfit in it for him.
they meet 350 years ago when hemendra was hunting in the woods (in human form) rianon saw him and fell insantly in lust and deiced to use magic to entap him
but because he is a dragon his powers are greater than hers and her sell didn't work which weirdly enoungh made her want him more at that piont he didn't really care one way or another. so she joined him in his journies, and was froced to change some of her evil ways ( he keeps her form cheating those who pay her for help by not leting her sabatoge there mission or sealing there whereabouts to the enemy)
after a while he did fall for her and gave her a ring made of his tears (which turn to stone as they fall) it is his most powerful nagic and gives her the ablity to live as long as he does
ok as far as the picture goes it is of the quiet times they send together... the golden apple is there as a joke since in mytholoy a dragon graudes the golden apples of immotality.. i don't like bg much since the characters cover it all... i did a lot of work on the floor back wall and sky oh well i guess it cause i like the focuas to be on the main objects in the pic (i like marco photography best) anyway i hope it works
oh and please forgive the misspelling and runon sentences
refernces
for names [link]
used D&D for help in making stats (i didn't read the books i pick my hubby's brain)
the gen. feel or look of the pose i found in an old playboy but i changed most of the upper body the arm supporting her body was on the back of a chair the one holding the apple in her lap so i had my husband pose so i could get the forshortened leg a bit better he also modeled for hands,
the apple [link]
some inspiring works for help with the bg [link] [link] there are so many good pics of castles that it would be to hard to list them all
here is my background without the characters [link]
their personalties are losely based on slayer's Lina Inverse and dragon is kinda Gourry and Zelugardis in one
the title is a tori amos song that i found kinda fitting

It is not such a big deal, maybe just something to keep an eye on in the future. It doesn't distract from the beauty of the piece. ^^

Radiant-Suzuka specifically said in this months challenge to include reference images/links to articles, etc. Here is the segment from the brief from this round:
'Your image must have:
1) RESEARCH!!! - one of the most important aspects of an image is that you thoroughly research your subject - if you don't know why your drawing a certain part of the image or it doesn't relate to the overall concept then don't add it in. I want to see references from EVERYBODY in their artists comments whether they be links to articles, stock images, etc.'

Your reference for her pose or the dragon (if you used one) they just asked us to use one this time.
I really love your dragon, he is so very pretty and your girls are always amazing.
