Description
This piece was a labor of love. I really enjoyed making this one, even if the 18 columns of hieroglyphs seem to detract from the focal point of the picture. This is Thoth, with his tablet/papyrus on a table next to a frog (??) and Nefertari faces him. There were parts of the original wall painting where the hieroglyphs were just gone so I filled in the gaps (when no edges of the missing glyph were available) with glyphs I just liked. I know that the text was from the Book of the Dead (the book of coming forth by day) which i have, but I'm still learning, and couldn't use it to figure out the missing text.
