Sooo... around early October I for some reason thought I could draw turtles so I gave it a try and I sketched this guy. I never did anything with him and forgot about him. Then today I found the sketch and decided to try and colour him and such and... Well... This is the end result for better or for worse XDNot too pleased with the colouring since I tried out a different little thing. But hey. At least I did something XD

Baaaw, the coloring is niiiice 8'D very good attempt to blend the colors hon!! (not easy at all with pens, I know OTL)
Anyway!! Awesome job on the mosaic patterned skiiiin *u* looks so lovely and detailed!! Sweet colors too >3< they go together SOO well and looks so pretty, eeps~~

Ahh, I agree with Shoot!! the warm colors were an excellent choice; you typically always see turtles as a shade of cool colors, such as blue and green XD I love how you shaded the whole piece too; it's really pretty!!

You two are too kind! X3 And it's kinda funny now when I think about it. I usually see turtles with some kind of warm colour to them more often, in rl that is... But in art it is def more cool colours. Never really thought about that before, but it's kinda interesting. XD

That's a pretty impressive turtle if you ask me! I think you aced it! I love the colors you picked for it too! You rarely see anyone do turtles in warm shades like this, the colors really pop. I especially like how you handled the shell, it's lovely.

Hehe, I honestly just picked colours that I usually see on turtles in rl XD But you are right that you rarely see warm shades on them in drawings. XD
