Description
Afterwork - LightroomCleveland Metroparks Zoo - Cleveland, Ohio
New Zoo, different animals, fun. Excellent exhibits the cat, aquatics, and primate area. Though, I have to agree with Pat when he said he thought the enclosures too small for the inhabitants. Still, it was a great day, I could of spent a whole hell of a lot more time.
The cheetah is the most endangered cat in Africa if you wish to help support this wonderful animal you can find information at the link below.

Well, as they are not domesticated animals, it's the only other category. They are still wild, even inside a cage. Which, doesn't seem to stop idiots from trying to put their hands or whole bodies for that matter inside them. You learn really quickly then, I believe if they are "wild". or not.

Gorgeous capture.
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a disappointment. Most of the animals, especially the cats and bears, have such small exhibits and are often pacing in circles around their enclosures out of stress and anxiety. Used to go there all the time, but seems to get worse and worse each year.

Mmh. That was noticed. I can understand the empathy for the animals. I know every time I go to the one here in town and I find children beating on the glass of the aquarium I want to strangle their parents. Useless gits just stand there and let them do it.

Don't strangle their parents. Do it the Roald Dahl way. Tell the little kiddos a nifty little story about child eating glasspanes. Good manners trough utter fear.
