Description Afterwork: Levels, contrast, sharpened.

Dedicated to a friend.

For the laughter and smiles you brought back with you. I've said it before, though never in such a public forum. The years you were gone left a hole in my life.

I'm glad you came back. I'm glad you managed to recall the good things and put away the bad. Mainly, I'm just glad you are here again.

For those of you that might wish to contribute to the recovery of the Amur/Siberian Tiger.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ladynightseduction In reply to mikebontoft [2008-05-22 12:08:31 +0000 UTC]

Hm. I think it is in CS2 as well. Look in your filter menu. It's located in the last one I believe. (Other) then select high pass. You'll have to duplicate your image first, and then blend it into the other with 'Overlay, soft light, or hard light' blend mode. Check it out! Let me know how it goes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mikebontoft In reply to ladynightseduction [2008-05-22 20:26:33 +0000 UTC]

right..... I do have it, and I just hit high pass and changed it a bit...... obviously I didn't duplicate it and the result wasn't that great, so I'll have to try that

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ladynightseduction In reply to mikebontoft [2008-05-22 22:31:32 +0000 UTC]

Yep. You do have to duplicate. Then do the blend modes. "Soft light" is the least intensive. "Overlay" the moderate. "Hard Light" the most. And I forgot to mention. When it asks you (the filter itself) what range? 0 - whatever. Choose half of what your camera's megapixel range is. For instance mine is eight, so I start at four. You can also step it down if it seems too intrusive with your opacity level on your layer.
