If he rolled and perhaps earned the nickname that way or if it was a teasing comment that's stuck the flower that has a variety of meanings has become sort of his flower. Loyalty, constancy, faerie flower, witch's thimble, deadman's bell...so many meanings.

Even with bluebells stuck in his mane and tail either because of some playful joke or from his own mischief, Illium has a cocky air. "If you got it, flaunt it."
