Personality: Scarborough, or Scar as she's called is a sassy mare that can be standoffish with strangers. Scar loves to explore and try new things but also learns from watching others. She has a quick mind and lots of energy and can be a bit cheeky. Scarborough can be pretty opinionated though and when crossed will make it clear and is slow to forgive. With a select few she's super sweet and loves to cuddle with Devon and quick to please.

History: Scarborough is the result of Marcus's work on acquiring an Admiralskaya for Zephyr Stud and arranged for the breeding between SWS's Cold Harbor and DKS' Scatheless. A beautifully put together mare and with wonderful movements. She was originally going to be a mount for Marcus's sister Lillian to take up to Grand Prix Dressage but Scar decided she didn't like that human and instead had taken a shine to Devon, Marcus's daughter that enjoyed working with the thoroughbreds. After a time to see if Scar would change her mind, Marcus decided it was best to let the horse choose her rider and she is now handled by Devon.

He's hoping for a grand prix dressage mare still but after Scar has jumped out of her field a few times so the mare clearly enjoys thwarting his plans. Teach him for having ideas. It was decided to let her finish maturing before deciding what the future holds.

OAG 2020: Well that was an adventure! Scar may have jumped out of the field at least once and certainly gave the poor lead mare of her herd a hard time. But after some hard lessons in respect and when to push her limits and when to obey she came back a happy refreshed sassy mare...with a fondness for tormenting the boys though she did learn some are not to be messed with. And if that wasn't enough...someone either didn't fill out the paperwork correctly (Lillian) or there was another unexpected change of plans with her coming back pregnant! but who was the sire wasn't known till the foal arrived. Okay Marcus could be a bit annoyed but...he did get some otherwise rare genes.
