Description
Third Place prize for RatPrince featuring Mogg from 'Blackmire Fire'! She was a lot of fun to draw because of that shredded coat and all those wrinkles on her clothes. Β Hope you like it!

Oh my gosh, she looks so intense and a bit frightening lol, best get out of her way quick. I love how you drew the oversized coat, especially the sleeves and the way the hem is all frayed

Haha!Β Thanks!Β What little I know about her character makes me think she's the type who can make good on her threats to slash someone. Β
It was a good excuse to draw some battle-damaged clothes!Β

Lol I think you're right, I mean, just because she's tiny doesn't make her any less threatening...she could bring down a Tall One with quick cuts to the back of the knee or hamstring argh!

Well, Merry hamstrung the Witch King so we know short people have that advantage! lol

For a minute I read that and thought 'Merry hamstrung? What's that?' *dumb moment*
Exactly! I mean people aren't used to aiming that low so shorties can slip by

Ahh! This is So awesome!Β
You got Mogg's character spot on...and she looks kind of terrifying. I wouldn't want to be the object of her attention at this moment X'D ...in fact I would probably be leaving the general vicinity. Those daggers look...reallyΒ sharp.Β
All those wrinkles and tattered shreds of fabric are fantastic, especially with the way her coat is billowing out behind her. I really like how you've drawn her clothing baggy and several sizes too large. (Seriously, those cloth wrinkles are fantastic!)Β
I love it!
Thank you so much!Β

Thank you!Β I'm glad you like how she turned out!Β
Haha, that was the intention! Β I was considering putting some bloodstains on the knives, but I thought, "no, no.Β Let's keep this PG for now." lol
I was going off of the first illustration you posted with the lineup of the cast and how it looked like she was drowning in her clothes (prison clothes, I assume??), and it was a lot of fun translating that to this picture!Β You've discovered my guilty pleasure...drawing clothes and all their wonderful wrinklies. :>
You are most welcome!

OOO....now I would not want to mess with her! Her glare is incredibly bad-ass. I love the pose too, the way she's leaning in is very threatening. I am also really envious of the way you've done her hair, it's very impressively drawn and I am always so jealous of the way that you draw the gleam of blades, these daggers look truly deadly indeed! A great prize!

Thank you!Β I like throwing secondary action into characters' poses like the clothes and hair swirling around her to add more motion. Β Long hair is easy for me--it's short hair that still continues to baffle me when I draw it!Β Thanks for noticing the knives!Β I wanted to make them look different from each other so it looks like she's picked them up along the way.
