Aww! I love the golden, summery lighting here, it has a real feeling of nostalgia, plus the idea of springtime being the beginning/buddies of love adds to the relaxed, and yet intimate conversation these two are having. They genuinely look as though they are hanging on each other's every word. That grass must have taken you ages to draw btw, and I love the sharp contrast between light and dark shades, suggesting dappled sunlight- gorgeous!

Oh!Β I used a brush I made for the grass since I didn't want to have to rely on the photoshop one that makes it obvious it's PS grass. lolΒ Tree shade is one of my fave things--I try to include it whenever I can! ;D

What a fantastic 'slice of life' shot, I love the natural poses, especially Ranulf and that 'undershot', not easy to draw at all.
