Awww!!! Don't cry Cornelia!!! I love the way you've drawn the tears shimmering in her eyes though, very well done! The blue lighting here enhances the sad mood of the piece and I love how protective Trenton is of her too!

Thank you!Β I tried to draw actual tracks of tears but they looked horrible so they were nixed!Β I've noticed most of my work is very orange/sepia-hued, so I wanted to break out of the box a bit with this piece.
Trenton is extremely protective of the people he cares about.Β He'll spank a kid who picks on Hester, but if someone acts violently against a loved one, they better watch out!
