“I swear, if we make it out o’ this alive I’m goin’ teh kill yeh!”
“Yeah, yeah! Shut up and hang on!”This was an excuse to play around with some different (faster) coloring techniques and more action poses (inspired by watching Peter Jackson's 'King Kong' last night). So far I really like this workflow and how it looks so I miiiight be sticking with this style for the comic from here on out!

As I said on Instagram, this perfectly sums up their relationship I think- I love the way Cornelia's legs are furiously scrambling at air whilst Trenton is trying to focus on the task at hand- climbing and trying not to be choked to death by his human backpack! This piece makes me smile every time I see it

Haha! Thank you so much!! I love drawing pictures like this with them--their clashing personalities make for a lot of fun scenarios. ;D This is still in the "I detest you stage" of their relationship, hence Cornelia wearing that dress and not really caring that she's strangling Trenton! lol

I love this XDD Poor Tenton, he's likely not having the best of times right now. 38 Seems like he's always got someone on his back nagging him (or shoulders in the case of the littles XD).
I love the dramatic lighting ;-; and I'm always jealous of your poses and how everything has genuine weight to it! I love it!

Thank you! LOL He's struggling to get up the rope and breath; it was one of those days that played out like Murphy's Law. 
AHHH Thank you!! My secret is thumbnailing--lots and lots of thumbnailing! And I was also watching King Kong at the time and there were some characters in a similar situation so I drew inspiration from that and how someone would cling onto another person's back while the other is holding onto a rope (or vine in that case lol).

Definitely! I like doing them when I feel art-blocked since I can cut loose and draw whatever goofy thing comes to mind and not feel compelled (or able!) to erase it.

Aw man! This is sooo coool! I really like the contrast in this picture, the way they are both cool tinted with that warm background. Once again the lighting is... is just awesome. (yeah, there's that word again XD) The light shining through Cornelia's skirt really makes it look believable. Your new style has been very enjoyable.

Cornelia's kicking and thrashing ain't gonna help matters! I always wanted to draw one of these 'hanging by a rope over dangerous doom' pictures, so this sort of soothes me by fulfilling the desire through proxy. I love that they actually do have weight behind them, pulling them down - and that there are so many lovely material wrinkles going on here, like a basket of Shar Pei puppies.
Appropriate sound effect is 'hnnnggghhh' - my arms, they ache.
