I decided to take a break from pagemaking today to work on a for-funsy Maelstrom picture. This can also count as my (belated) St. Patrick's Day picture too I guess!

Oh wow! This is very dramatic indeed! I love the anger in Trenton's expression, it helps enhance the dramatic light and shade of the green flame around his fist. I like the way you've draw his arm hair as well and what does the tattoo on his arm stand for? I'm sensing an interesting story there.

Thank you! Intense emotions tend to correlate with his powers--I really can't wait to get to him actually using his Magus in the comic, but it's so far off compared to where I am now!
That tattoo does have an interesting backstory (one that will most likely show up as a small vignette at the end of one of the volumes
