I was tempted to reunite them in Chapter 16, I even played the scenario out, but it just didn't work.

Thank you! I'm so happy you like them! I was thinking of drawing one of the kids again this year, and then I went scrolling through TSE archives and realized how much I love Runo. T_T
Now every time that Aetius catches up with the Novalog, I'll cross my fingers that a Ruya Rescue happens! lol That's probably the most frustrating part of planning out a long story, like, there's so many things I want to get to in my own comic, but they don't take place until waaaay down the line...
