Description
Merry (early) Christmas, Dune!On a side note, the shading style of the picture looks different because I was going for an animated, screenshot look. Elynn is the leader of the desert nomads in Dunetrekker's novel-in-the-making. Want to see more art related to Dune's novel? Check it out: dunetrekker.deviantart.com/gal…

I've always loved your art, but I never had a DA account before.
Expect a lot of compliments.

OH. My.
The moment I saw this in my inbox, I thought I would pass out. And the moment I clicked on it and saw it in full-size just stole my breath away. Elynn and her horse look wicked awesome in your style! You matched the aura of the desert sunset to perfection with one of the scenes in my novel, and I love all that cool desert gear. And I love all those patches of light on the sand. SO COOL! Thank you so much for this, Cappy, and Merry Christmas to you too!
P.S.~~I LOVE the screenshot look!

You are most welcome! I had a blast working on this!
That's actually pretty awesome! Will you be posting some scenes from the story later on?

I just really truly love it. I showed my sister and she just looked at me and said, "NO WAY!" We were both utterly stunned.
I hope so! I have people breathing down my neck for more of the Balto comic...but the thing with that is you can only work on it when you're really in the mood. Each page takes so long that it drains my art mood. I would MUCH rather be drawing scenes from Gallaway, and I have another one on the way right now.

I hear you on that! Although not as many people are excited about the new version of 'TU' as the last one (I think it's because they want it in color XP). The hard part for me is sketching the pages and working on the script--that script goes through so many changes before the chapters are done!
Awesome! I can't wait to see it!
