I had a weekend marathon earlier this month, mainly because we were talking about Cyber Heroes in Superhero Cinema that week and I hadn't seen the original TRON in years. I felt like the second movie had a more compelling story, what with cyber people wanting to escape their cyber prison world and make everything "perfect" in ours; it just seemed like there were more stakes than in the first film. I guess these can be bonus Inktobers too--speaking of which, I'm delaying with this past week's batch for a big Tuesday post with the last three Inktobers of the month.Characters©Disney

Are the Tron movies worth seeing? I liked Tron Uprising, but it's the only Tron I've ever seen.

The first movie is helpful for understanding the mythos of the TRON-verse, although the CG is horribly outdated and kinda cringey lol I LOVE Legacy--I feel like the story is a lot more compelling and has more stakes than in the original movie. CLU makes a really great/creepy villain too.

i saw the first Tron. It was really boring and dumb, but the visuals were really nice. Not sure if it's really worth the price of a theater ticket tho.
