Description Apologies for the lack of art this week!  I've been working on mass-producing Maelstrom pages and finishing up the Haddock and Isolde chapter for next week, so my time has been limited.  Here's a TBT of the original picture featuring Mystery Woman and Trenton from Chapter One ...in color!  This was back when I was still slightly confused about the timeline of the comic and thought for some reason that they would be in their twenties in the 1880s when they would have actually been teenagers.  OOPS.

Sounds like something I'd do, lol. Whenever I see this couple I feel kinda bad things didn't work out. ;~; (But at the same time I get snake vibes from Elsie so, probably for the best.)

I think I just wanted to draw 1870s/1880s stuff and deluded myself into thinking they'd be this age then. XD

Elsie is a little harpy.  That is all.

*slams fist on table* EXACTLY the sort of thing that I'd do!!

Well, just so long as she doesn't eat any carnival witches...

Te he! Trenton looks so serious and respectful here- hardly like his usual 'flying by the seat of his pants' normal look! The mysterious lady looks sly here too- I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her! (Even if I do think her gown is simply gorgeous- lovely shades of blue and very period appropriate! )

A lot has changed since Trenton and Mystery Lady posed for that picture!  Even then, he wasn't all that respectable, but that's a story for later on.

Thank you!  1880s dresses are a blast to draw--I'm disappointed that they weren't really the ages they're supposed to be at that time!  She's stuck with puff sleeves now. lol  Oh yes, she's a crafty one.

Oh my, I think I have put something together! I have a pretty good idea at who the mystery woman might be. Awesome picture right there by the way!

I did some calculations and they would have been around 15 or 16; Trenton wouldn't have met her yet since he was off running around at a circus when he was 15/16.
