I love her costume! I dig Wonder Woman's classic costumes, but the one from Justice League: War is my favorite variation of it. This is similar, but so much shinier. I also like how you've shown her strength through her pose and expression.

Thank you!Β That's one of my favorite DC Animated movies (that, and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse)!Β I think I subconsciously drew inspiration from it (because Phil Bourassa's character designs are AMAZING), and one of Cliff Chiang's concept designs from the New 52 look.

This is such an impressive image! I love how powerful and courageous she looks here. Plus her outfit is less sexist than how she's normally portrayed, so well done for designing something that looks more practical and less embarrassing. I love the shading on her armour too, it's so shining and striking! Happy *belated* Wonder Woman day!

Thank you!Β I've been working on a more practical costume for her since last year, and this is the end result of a lot of time and research.Β I always thought that the pants concept would work better for fighting than the bathing suit look.
I sketched the armor like that and liked it enough to try something new!Β I think that way of drawing/shading metal might stick around.

I second Saylem, it's great to see this and your other sketches on the big screen.
This is all so great, but I noticed something: All your sketches of Diana, she's regal, serious... sad? Burdened? Please don't tell me she and Clark are apart or divorced in your AU. Not after what DC did to them in the 52.Β Β Let them be raising Alexandra together.Β
If she has the God of War background from the 52, and also having to assume her mother's place.... please, let Clark be strong of character and intelligent enough to help her. I hate what I recently started calling the 'flanderization' of Supes since post-crisis. Let he be able to help her.
All your SMWW art is great and really engaged my imagination. Thanks for all of that.

Thank you!Β And don't worry!Β The whole reason I started this AU was because I liked Kal and Diana as a couple and wanted to see what would happen if they settled down and had a superpowered kid.
I know what you mean. -_-Β I'm very picky when it comes to Superman comics (since he's my favorite superhero!), so I only buy comics where the writers respect and stay true to the character instead of trying to make him another broody hero.Β My absolute fave is 'Superman: Birthright' by Mark Waid--my sis and I agree that THAT comic should've been the basis for the film reboot.
I'm so glad you're enjoying my AU art! Β There will be a sketch dump coming up soon with more concepts!

I just saw your Instagram and they have adopted Conner! Β Β Β So, they are still together. Sorry for all my angst imaginering. But I'm still curious about Diana's serious attitude in all your pics.

LOVE it!Β
I love the bold comic style linework on this! This is so great to see on DA versus my tiny phone screen on IG! Well done! I love all the homages to the character - you can tell you really love and respect this character.Β
Plus... uuuummm her HAIR!!! DAAAAAANG! Girls' got some serious hair game!!! Β Β Β Β

Good job. I like her outfit. It shows off the muscles yet covers the places that need covered.

Thank you!Β It only took me six months to work out a costume design for her.

That's a long time.
Then again, it explains my lack of costume design, which is about "long sleeved or short sleeved shirt, and what color?"
