I like the little details of the scars on her arms. It show how tough she is and how much training she had to go through. LOVE her!!!

Thanks! She's becoming one of my new favorite characters to draw!

Lol she looks a little bored- as if she doesn't know what she's doing there! I love her in Amazonian clothing though- it really suits her- particularly that hairstyle! I really love the lighting here too, the way it's blazing out behind her, almost dazzling the viewer. The lighting combined with that shade of blue really does remind me of exotic Mediterranean holidays- love it!

She probably misses her WiFi connection.
Thank you! I was looking up different hairstyles from Ancient Greece that would work for her, and that's the one that I liked the best!
I've been playing around with lighting a lot with these Supergirl pics--it's something that I want to explore more in the Maelstrom comic.

Nice character design (and the Amazonian clothing is really cool, giver her a kind of greek-godess quality). She looks like a strong and determined individual.
The lineart seems really clean and the glowy, shading looks great.

Thanks! That's what I was going for.
I was trying something new with the lineart that I'd seen other comic artists do--I might play around with it more since I like the end result!

Those are my favorite kinds of pics to draw...besides the "this is so dark, I'm not even gonna show it to my mom" ones. lol

Thanks! You tend to gather a few scars when training with Amazon warriors.

Thanks!
Well...I'm kind of apprehensively waiting to see if it will be any good. In my opinion, DC's live action films really started tanking with 'Man of Steel' because of weak plotlines, zero character development, and fight scenes that last WAY too long. I'm just hoping that they'll get some better screenwriters if they want to make good quality films again. (Their Direct to DVD animated movies are pretty good, though!)

It's like, "Dear DC, please put whoever is writing your awesome cartoons in charge of writing the movies."

LOL That's exactly what me and my sis talk about whenever we see trailers for the live-action films!

I wonder what it'd look like if they told someone they were writing the script for an animated movie, but in reality, they were doing something for live action.
I was rather disappointed in the Supergirl TV series. It felt like the 20 extra minutes they had because it was for adults meant they just added a bunch of immature drama and dumb political agenda that was absent from the "kids" shows that get to the point.

From what I've heard of at college, there isn't a whole lot of differences between scripts for animated movies and those for live-action besides extra cues for the animators. I just wish someone would do that!
Yeah, I know what that's like... That's probably the reason why I don't really watch "new" shows and just stick to older, completed ones, or cartoons. xP

That'd make sense. I'm now imagining a scenario where the live action and animation scripts got swapped, and then everyone just goes with it.
The only shows I'm really keeping up with now are animated ones.
