This piece was inspired by Lloyd Alexanderβs Prydain books and two of their protagonists, Taran the Assistant Pig-Keeper and Eilonwy of the Red-Gold Hair. Their story is a romantic one, just one of many stories that have happened in times long gone. I suppose this is one more reason why so many people love the Middle Ages. Every story, every legend and myth and fairy tale coming from those times is romantic in some way, every knight has his own fair lady and every girl has her own Prince Charming.
