Description
First off, I wanted to say that there is no right or wrong way to draw and everyone has their own approach, this is just my way of drawing. I wanted to make this short tutorial as a way of helping beginner anthro artists out. I haven't decided if I should make this a series or not, so I'm open to suggestions on that one if anybody would like to see more or if this actually helps in any way. Ok, lets get started. This tutorial is how to draw a basic feline shaped head. All instructions are for images going from the far left to the far right in progression.
Step 1: Draw a circle, this will be the base for your characters head. For frontal views, I often divide the face down the middle and then across evenly, this will help with feature placement later. You can sketch in the ears and neck now if you would like.
Step 2: Draw in the eyes which should sit about in the middle of the face, I draw the nose in about halfway from the distance of the eyes to the chin. Remember that felines generally have shorter snouts than most canines. At this stage, I also draw in the mouth, cheek tuft shape and the inner ears as well as eyebrows. Since I was drawing a female, I added in some eyelid creases for cuteness.
Step 3: In this stage, I added in the hair and ear tufts. I also gave the eyes definition by adding in some pupils. The cheek tufts are now more defined and the character sketch is now complete.
Bonus: Bottom pic. This is what the characters head would look like from the back, instructions are pretty much the same as with the other two pics, except there are no facial features to draw in.
Anyhow, I hope this tutorial helps those who wanted to draw feline heads. Please remember that just because I draw this way, doesn't mean you have to. If anyone wants to use this tutorial, I would love to see the results.

Did you mean a profile view or something from an angle from the side like the head titled up or down?

Helpful, but it could have been much more so if you'd included 3/4 angles...
Do you have any additional tutorials that include them?

Not at the moment I don't, I might make a part two though, are there any other views you would like to see or suggest?

I'd like to suggest a 3/4 view(The view I have the most difficulty with on cat-type furries), and a tilted up/tilted down front view, which can generally be difficult for drawing furries in. Seeing these views would be extremely helpful to any artist attempting to draw furries. ^^
Thank you for asking! This is the first time I've ever even heard of the maker of a tutorial actually asking for what the readers want/need. That is very kind of you, thank you very much! ^^
