Oh well, lotsa cons do that.. nothing outta ordinary or worth her time tbh. Arguing for the arguments sake... nah, it just gives her a headache---she'd rather go kill something in the simulations or what not.

Though, if there was a point to the argument (stupid orders, protecting a friend etc. etc.)... by all means.

Traps? Lol. Technically, transformers do not have genders, in organic sense anyway, so what does it matter?
Or you say its ok that a mech looks like femme not the other way around?

I think it was probably the makeshift soul patch she has. Even I thought she was a he from the first pic, but it doesn't really matter too much.

I really do like this OC, I've been trying to make an OC of my own (a fellow Decepticon) but some of the ones I've seen have been...depressing.

Now that I think about it, Darkshade and Quaketread (the name of my OC, guess his form) would either get along very well or be at each other's throats, it would be the extreme of either way.

Heh, frankly the concept of our AU is that you probably wouldnt be able to tell a mech and femme apart unless they spoke. The voice pitch would give them away. There are 'feminine' femmes (and feminine mechs lol) but we choose not to generalize them in this way too much.

Well, being a con and all.. it's a very depressive business XD Darkshade isn't all sunshine and bunnies either. But I guess they can't take it too seriously, or they would go nuts.

What about your take on it? I can only really speak for Quaketread, but you'd know Darkshade's personality better than I would. What do you see happening? Do they get along or is someone getting stabbed?

I didnt mean depressing in that way, more like terrible bifactional Mary Sue hornybots (thats a term now) that made me depressed for humanity.

Quaketread (bear in mind he was designed primarily for the Generations timeline (War for Cybertron and Fall) so bear with me) is gruff and no-nonsense, fanatically loyal to Megatron and the Decepticons(but in an an interesting way, unlike a certain fat cyclops in a certain series which shall not be named). Believes Optimus planned to steal the Matrix from Megatron from the beginning by offering an escape route for the upper class, and has deceived the "dreamers" in the Autobots into believing he'll actually change anything once Megatron is dead.

Unlike Darkshade, Quaketread is a main battle kind of Con, either using the two artillery cannons of his artillery tank-truck-thing (worst thing in the world to put on paper, I need a commission) vehicle mode to shell enemy camps from afar or using the blades on either end of the arm of his double-barreled crossbow arm gauntlet (which is the rail the guns aim up and down on in vehicle mode) to give some Bot a lo-bot-omy (I apologise). Darkshade I gather, is a lot more stealthy, so a mission together being mucked-up could cause a war as it is.

The way I see it, either Quaketread will enjoy company that isn't self-preening to the point of nausea (*cough*Starscream*cough*) or will get so annoyed with Darkshade's angstiness that he'll be planning to ventilate her neural net when her back's turned.

I sure as hell wouldn't want to be nearby if theres a throwdown between them, it'd be epic, but those tank shells have a long range and a wide blast radius.

Hey, cool. Yep, DS is more stealthy type, mostly because of her lack of heavier armoring and her pre-war background. But she is very much able to introduce her advesary to a world of pain if the need arises. She's very sharp and quick on her feet but also has some front-line experience (back on cybertron, when bots and cons were in an open conflict, everybody had to do their part in combat). But she usually choses more subtle approach, stealth or avoids the conflict all together. And as I said she doesn't like to get involved in in-faction fights and quarrels (it's more about survival in our AU, really, decepticons are on the run, hiding, they dont have time to 'fuck around' XD)

Heheh, if Quaketread isn't particularly fond of Starscream.. then I guess they already have a thing in common XD. But yeah.. basically if he doesn't have his head up his exhaust pipe (as lots of cons do) she'd have no problem with him

I also just realized I completely sidetracked from hating Starscream (I rant sometimes, I apologise). But as I was saying before I got sidetracked, Starscream's self-importance drives Quaketread mad and he viewed Starscream with contempt when he made himself leader after Megatron got flattened, vowing that the first slip-up Starscream made in keeping Quaketread far away would be his last.

Cons on the run eh? Sounds like it was made for Quaketread, seeing as he already believes Prime is a liar when it comes to change and equality among the classes. Getting hunted down would only fuel his argument and make him fight all the harder against any Autobot he found.

And yes, he most definitely is not fond of Starscream, when Megatron was killed by Metroplex (Generations timeline, remember)he had to be physically be restrained by 3 fellow Cons to surrender, swearing to kill Metroplex and Prime himself. Obviously this got sidetracked when Megatron came back and he changed his priorities to shelling Autobots to allow Megatron to reach Trypticon.

You should let me know when you decide to open commisions, I'd like to get Quaketread down on paper and even have a couple of ideas for more actiony pics.
