On a more serious not, it is really hard to know what to say when you meet someone who refuses any label except "bad". Not that I've ever met a criminal like Cera lol, but having artist friends means having friends with chronic low self-esteem and a misconception that putting yourself down mercilessly is the same thing as being humble. It's....difficult to stay positive and try to help them when they refuse to listen >.<
Sorry that turned into a tiny rant ahaha, but this lovely comic page really got me thinking xD

Ahahahahaa, ahhhhh nooo thank you so much, honestly........ I really feel that self-loathing thing a lot myself and I think a lot of it seeped out into Cera (and Seth as well, lmao). I really like exploring complicated characters and all that too, I'm glad if this got you thinking, it's a compliment to me hehehe ^^

I love complex character dynamics too, especially the angsty ones lol, so I get you there XD
And yeah, I'm no stranger to struggling with self-esteem sometimes, especially when it comes to art, so I know how it goes. I definitely put that feeling in a few characters of my own lol
