(Y'know, I was so tempted to title this "sketchbook dump" or something just because I'm finally done with compiling all my sketches from my lecture notes... weird feeling, hahah!)Ummmmm anyway! Sorry for spamming all your inboxes guys, dumping all the rest of the stuff together now. ;-;
Don't take any of the designs for the Iris team too seriously--I'm still just doodling around and learning how to draw them for myself, heheh. Still, I really love my sketchbook right now--it FEELS like a sketchbook, very informal-like, so I can kind of just doodle in it and not worry about how anything looks.
Still, guess I should buy myself some new actual inks, so I can actually color some of these doodles next time, heh... xD
I'm still debating if I want Ayra and Phelan to be pureblood Demis or half-blood... Everyone else you see should be pureblood. /rambles

Your character designs are amazing and oh my gosh i just love Ayra and Kashpa (sp?) there is so much emotion and life in your drawings, all your charcter look so solid and real like :> love the action poses and watercolors.

Awwww, thank you so much! I tend to be very boring with my watercolor choice of colors (I don't really use green or purple or yellow much xD) so I tried to broaden that! ...Maybe I just need some more lively characters, though...

I think other people are sick of my sketches though--I-I'm going to try to work on bigger pieces, I swear! ;-; I want to do lots of illustrations for AD... *_*

I enjoy the little thumbnails of that movement, they really feel energetic. even the standing one. GREAT. I'm glad you're messing up in your sketchbook too and that you really love it. The attempt at Ian in this great perspective is fantastic! It's on it's way. Don't stop! your lineart is so clean and fluid and also has great weight alteration to it. Too awesome. Lotsa growth

Watercolors are incredibly flexible and a wonderful medium once you get to know them! They're picky about paper types, but being able to control wet/dry, color mixing and variation... I find them REALLY fun to play with for all sorts of reasons, so definitely, keep at them! C: They're a ton of fun!

Yeah.. Well I'm total beginner in watercolours, but I get what you mean. Sooner or later I'll get into it for sure, I'm just really slow with everything most of the times. >,<

Hahahah, actually, he's more like, frozen in time, in a sense? He doesn't age and he doesn't really move, just stands there, and being a pureblood harpy he's already stronger than a human... the sigology should mostly cancel out any metabolism generated toward growth, though I think in the story he is surrounded by pigeon bones... xD

I reeeeally <3 how each of your medium choices are used to their fullest potential. Inks? DETAILED PRECISION LINES. Watercolors? DREAMLIKE FLIGHTS OF FANCY. 8D Way to work that book.
