Stuff I forgot to post from my Character Design class last semester; I did redesigns for a bunch of Chinese mythological characters!Here's my take on the Monkey King, Sun WuKong! He was a lot of fun to work with, as can be expected of any kind of trickster god~ ; ) He's pretty simple-minded and straightforward, and really is just a huge dork who likes eating and fighting, hahahaha.

I watched a movie (in Chinese, lolz) about Li Nezha and the 4 Dragons. It was tough when he sliced his neck... I guess it was so he can go to the Heavens and beat the dragons there or sth. The animation was super beautiful!

Heheheh thanks!! I still might tweak his colors a lil (I wanted to figure out somehow to add more black to his sweater-around-the-waist, to imitate the tiger pelt he has in the canonical design more! XD

Ahahahaha, thanks so much, waah!!! Actually for that sketch, the prompt in class was to draw something in the style of one of our favorite artists, so I tried to do something dynamic and kickass in line with Daisuke Ishiwatari, who's one of my favorite artists ever... *0*
