UUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHH this is really rough but just posting something I doodled in SAI to let you all know I'm still alive and that I'm headed back for the States in 5 days, on August 10th! Barring, of course, me being carried away by the mosquitos... Ack!/swap swap

This is really rough? 
This is captivating. The shiny hair, the shadows on the skin...you feel like you're looking at someone. A real someone, with a past and a present. That is quite a bit more than a rough doodle.

Ahahahaha, well, I had pretty much almost no internet for a month down in Panama, and now I'm on a trip to Alaska with very little internet connection (I THINK) for the almost-two weeks I'll be here, and so yeah, I'm uh... I'm starting to get kinda used to life without internet, ahahaha! xD; I miss it a lot though, ahh...

Ahahahaha, we're just staying near the airport, and we only hung around for two days--but we saw so much and had so much fun! Yesterday was bright and sunny indeed, but I got a good taste for the rain today! xD We went to the Vancouver aquarium, which was SUPER-COOL BRO 8U ties in with Baltimore Aquarium if not succeeding it as best aquarium I've been to yet! And also historical chinatown and then just wandering around... mostly near, Richmond, was it? Yeah. But we're leaving reaaaaal early tomorrow on a 7 o'clock flight... DX I wanted to stay longer and pick out trinkets and drink real soy milk!
Ahaha but yeah, having a great time here! It's sooooooooo pretty, I might wanna move here now~ ;A;

We were only here sunday/monday night, so yeah, most places closed early and we just kinda went back to the hotel after dinner. But sooooooooo nice!! Augh, you gotta tell me more about it! What do you like getting to do most in your free time? Where in the city do you live? Does it rain too much or is it okay??

It rains a lot here lol. There're probably only two months when it doesn't rain lol. But it doesn't snow much here, so it's all right. The temperature here is mild over all- not too hot or too cold although last winter was killer and summer was slow to start this year. Right now, it's pretty lovely, and the temp hasn't exceeded 26 degrees Celcius.
To be honest, I'd like to explore my city more. I'd tell my friends that we should pretend to be tourists and totally be oblivious to things (although there are lot of things and places that I haven't done or gone to yet too O: )
Hmm, in my free time, it depends. I've been doing a lot of art/writing lately so I haven't been playing outside as much. The beaches are nice here too. I like to go restaurant hopping and go to events that happen in the city. The one I'm looking forward to next is the Taiwan Festival in early September :3.
I live in East Vancouver as well.
Oh, and I already answered that rain question xD.

Ahhhhhhhh~ I guess as a person getting ready to move out of college I'm worried about housing costs, since the houses in Vancouver all seem pretty darn expensive! xD But good gosh the city and the scenery are indeed gorgeous, and I loved it there! And I could get so much fresh soy milk~ 8DDD

Oh yeah, totally, I'd be worried in general because you know you'll eventually be moving out (as an independent adult of course :3)! Yes! Vancouver is a super duper expensive city to live in! The cost of living is high too! And gas prices, and food, and clothes- and the list goes on... But minimum wage isn't that high which makes me go WTF? :T
Lol, glad to hear you got your fresh soy milk fix x3. I don't know where I can get fresh soy milk from? I just know Asian shops/stores here that sell them in jugs- not sure if that is considered fresh. But when I was growing up, my dad used to make it (as well as tofu and the bean curd- a lot better than store bought, but now he doesn't have the time to make them :/)

Haha, yeah, well, back here all we really drink is Silk soy milk, which is tasty but not real soy milk, you know what I mean?

My summer's been nice I guess, aside from being really artblocked and losing my tablet pen. I've just been replaying Abyss, getting some titles I missed the first three playthroughs xD;;; (so close, so close..... somehow I can just never get tired of that game, and multiplayer is so fun.)
