I cannot label my art into any style, yet the best description others have given is it is visionary art.

In this series of 'Divine Encounters' I am merely sharing the images (or portraits as I like to call them) of the various divinities / deities that have resonated with me throughout my life

And most of my artworks reflect various aspects of my spirituality and beliefs

That is what makes it cool and interesting.
As far as your portraits go, at least you're talented enough to honor them with such works. I'm a little bit more fail at that.

There is nothing to worry in regards to your art . . . they reflect who you are today . . . and that includes how you are growing

I could tell by your page that you are still young, and that has all its potential . . . especially that you are exploring different expressions in various media

And in regards to myself, I am quite old and have had 40 years of consistent practice to reach this level . . . so you can imagine what you will be creating when you reach my age

This would explain why people never get to be famous untill after they're dead.
When the beauty of their work gets to the magnum opus of their lives, then they reach their pinnacle, people notice their work, but they arent in a position to take advantage of it.
Besides that, to put it very very bluntly, 40 is not old. 50 is not old.
I've met 80yr olds who are as young as I am, and in my case, 18 yrs old who are really 30ish.
Old is a state of mind.

As for being young, and growing, this I can understand, but that doesnt help me figure out where to go. I feel like I'm stuck where I am, and I havent really grown in what I do, this is very disconcerting, and fairly frustrating for me.. but neither here nor there.

It is very true to speak of age as a state of mind, yet in my perspective I do mention my age in correlation to the wealth of experiences that I have had. And with that cornucopia of experience I feel as young as I want and as old as I want . . . usually I get quite immature when playing with my daughter

Actually Isis is more a guide to my wife. So while creating this portrait, I was joking to my wife that I might draw the old campy 70s TV show character of Isis.

Here I portrayed here as part of the sun, via here wings

I was deep into meditation as I did this work, but mid-way the song "Sun Goddess" by Earth Wind and Fire came to mind, and I played it as I completed this piece
