I need your help.This is what I am thinking for a promo shot for a professional boxer. The concept is breaking out onto the pro scene.

I love this photograph. Water always brings magic to still images and in this case it adds energy and dynamism. His expression is powerful and joyful all the same. I personally donΒ΄t see the boxing theme in it, but perhaps with some graphic design it may be conveyed. ItΒ΄s definitely a strong commercial shot.

This reminds me, my brother wanted me to take photos of him with gloves and fake blood [you know, boxer's stuff] because he's into boxing. Anyway, I think it's better if you make your model wear a boxer's garment and look for a fitting background for that. :]

This one would be great for that.. The only thing I would add would be boxing gloves.. Cause this looks like a sports shot but with that you'd make it more specific.
I really love the movement and action in this shot, the pose is perfect and the lighting is well done as always!

This is fantastic! I agree with colt51 - the shot itself if beautifully executed - the lighting, the water, the model - it's all great. But to tailor it to boxing there should be some more sport-specific accoutrements
Saying that though, I love your work with water - maybe you could still incorporate it into the final promo shot - you could take the splash concept and apply it to when boxers are in the ring but taking a time out - their coaches splash them with water to cool them down don't they? You could do a shot that incorporates that :shug: I don't know - it's an idea eh?
