Guardian Mothra!

Back in Feudal Japan, where 'demons' roamed, it was discovered later that they where kaiju. A possible distant relative to the Mothras, a similar moth like kaiju was convinced by Shinto shrine maidens that if she protected them, they would praise her.

And praise they did, and protected them she had done for over five hundred years. However, in 2001, a demon possessed Godzillasaur was attacking Japan, and killing other Guardian monsters left and right, already dealing with Rodan, the guardian of the sky, Baragon, the guardian of the Mountains, and Anguirus, guardian of the Forrest.

Mothra emerged from a cave, and flew towards the demon dinosaur, and instantly fired her stingers into it's skin, making the demon woozy, as Mire, after being beaten five times by the larger saurian, once again charged to attack, clamping his crocodilian like jaws onto the monster's neck, trying to drag it down, as Mothra, seeing that Mire was somehow 'good' used her claws on the back of Demonic Godzilla's neck, jamming her stinger into the middle of his back, but the demon had a trick for both of them, sending out a dark purple pulse.

Mire was flung backwards into Osaka bay, and Mothra, injured but not yet killed, could only watch as Demon Godzilla was making his way to Tokyo.

Mothra returned and tried to help the last two guardian monsters as best she could, how ever, she too was killed, and sent her spirit to Mt.Fuji, where it, along with the golden form of Rodan, and the two crawling forms of Baragon and Anguirus, circled the mountain.
