Description The Goddess of Monsters

MOTHRA

Length: 40 meters.
Wingspan: 100 meters.
Weight: 50,000 tons.

When the massive cocoon nuzzled to the wreck of Tokyo Tower was assulted by Light-Heat-Cannons, the metamorphasis was sped up, turning the ugly, slimey worm into a beautifull goddess of Infant Island.

With in moments, all military units where shocked due to the colorfull wings and fur patterns, just enough time for the massive insect to save its tiny priestesses. It then landed in an Airport run way, using its legs to scrape a symbol into the pavement, before flying off.

Four years later, the massive moth was convinced to fight a new enemy, Godzilla. The light cycle rays used on it that sped it's metamorphus where now causing it to wither inside, making the moth weaker. She flew into battle, knowing her egg and humanity where at stake.

How ever, the massive moth lost the battle, and Godzilla was left to rampage until the egg hatched into two larvae.

Another Mothra was seen two years after the first one died, this one apparently the 'new' ruler of Infant Island, and was called apon to save the slaves captured and used by the Red Bamboo.

Mothra then vanished from the scene all together, until 1992, another egg hatched, and the larvae went on to fight Battra and Godzilla, then metamorphised into Mothra, and teaming with Battra. The monster then flew off into space.

Another Mothra was seen in 1996, fully adult, after laying an egg, using most her manner, and then, forced her dying form to fight a new threat, DesGhidorah. Sadly, the mother was so weak, she could only carry her infant to safty, and vanished beneath the waves.

In 2001, when a semingly evil Godzilla started to attack Japan, an acient Mothra was summoned, being more prone to violence than the first of it's species, and even having stingers. Sadly, that one was vaporized by the nuclear behemoth. In 2003, another Mothra arrived from Infant island, to fight and subdue a rampaging Godzilla, only to be beaten to the verge of death until Kiryu and the two new Mothra Larvae hatched. When Godzilla tried to attack the larvae, the mother sacrificed herself to the nuclar powered beam, and turned into golden spores.

A final Mothra was reported in 2005, and helped fight along side Godzilla as he fought against the clones of monsters from the past. The moth goddess fought against the cyborg monster Gigan, and almost lost her life, but returned to Infant Island, charred and burned, letting her wounds heal.
