Description

A birthday gift I got from my fantastic friend back when I turned 18 I think, and that I for some reason have not uploaded here. Seems I haven't uploaded many other birthday gifts either so let's remedy that now. Original here: Delirium

Featuring Jinx falling down (a character of ) and Taegan, an unholy deity of mine who you can see in his three headed dragon form here, offering a helping hand so to speak.
Scene taking place is 's interpretation of a scene in the fantastic story by that you can read over on Sunjinjo's page (Also, if anyone has any idea how to link written texts without them turning into thumbnails that lead absolutely nowhere, then please tell me).

Most of you who watch me are familiar enough with Taegan, but for those who are not, here is a "small (it's kinda lengthy so read if you dare)" recap that will eventually be expanded and explained more in "The History of Taegan" series that I aim to continue once life gets a bit less hectic:

Taegan was originally a sort of a lesser deity in a completely other world than where he now resides, ruling over different races that he managed to lure into his servitude. Mostly these turned out to be goblins of different tribes that had no other gods that would pay heed to them. At first he was a semi-benevolent god towards this goblins but that eventually changed as power corrupts. His brother, Talorg, a sort of a lesser deity as well but of different alignment (Taegan and Talorg were literally almost like the day and night you see), took notice that Taegan wanted more and more power. This lead to him trying to protect some of the goblins and other races from his brothers dark and unholy influence, which then lead to two massive wars fought between the two gods and those that deemed them their gods. Other gods did not wish to participate in this and would only take action if the other party would prove triumphant and if that would have dire consequences for the rest of the races. During the end of the second war, Taegan got enclosed inside an orb that was crafted by the high priests of Talorg, much to the horror of Talorg himself. Talorg did see his brother as his brother, no matter what sort of vile and evil deeds Taegan might have committed. Alas, the three gods that preserved the balance between the powers of light and darkness, forbade Talorg from releasing his brother himself. Instead Talorg decided to protect his brother by wrapping the area around the orb's location in a veil of mist that allowed people to enter, but never to leave lest the veil be lifted. Thousands of years passed and eventually Taegan was set free by a certain goblin belonging to the species that the last great confrontation of him and his brother had brought to life. Taegan was extremely weak after this however and hatched a plan to grow in power by eating creatures that had awakened from their own slumber and that were filled with magical energy. Dragons that had scales made from diamonds, rubies, emeralds and other precious minerals that were more than capable of surviving a direct impact from a sword or mace or anything else like that. He also tried to begin his new reign in the town that had grown in the place where the orb that he had been imprisoned in was laid to rest, the Village of Fog as those that had gotten trapped inside the veil of mist had started to call their humble village and the areas surrounding their village. Taegan was able to break through the mist due to Talorg letting it happen, but before Talorg could ask for a change in Taegan's behaviour, the dark deity had already left for a remote island that had had a change in leadership slightly before he had been awakened. He lured the young leader of the island, Vergal into his servitude by luring the dragons with gems in their skins to the island of Geragha, merely by contacting them mentally and promising more chaos, slaughter and feasting than what the dragons had ever experienced in the past by tormenting Dwarves. Taegan then promised Vergal help in defeating the dragons, after they had done enough damage to the island of course, in return of a one simple thing. Never-ending loyalty to him from Vergal's side and that Vergal would also eradicate temples to the gods of light and purity and replace them with temples dedicated to the gods of darkness. This was due to Taegan wanting to throw the other deities of his own scent, for his ultimate plan was to grow strong enough to eventually replace one of the three primal deities that ruled over the lesser deities. Vergal agreed and begun his fight against the dragons while Taegan flew above him and his troops, making himself invisible to all others except Vergal, just to remind him who he now belonged to and that he could never defeat the dragons alone. While the troops down below wondered as to if their magicians were truly as capable all of a sudden, thanks to the new dark deities their nation now worshipped, to blow up dragons so that nothing remained, Vergal watched as Taegan simply kept tearing and devouring the smaller dragons in the form of his own, three headed form. After those few days of "war" against the dragons, Taegan departed while demanding once more that Vergal remains loyal to him, no matter what. And Vergal promised. When Taegan returned to the village of fog to end what he started there, an act which his "child", a demigod that had taken calling himself Naegat, had continued in his absence, Talorg had been keeping an close eye on both of them and delivered his findings to the primal gods out of loyalty to his own supreme god of ligt. They were enraged, the supreme goddess of dark especially, and came to a conclusion that Taegan's plans must be put to end before anything else happens. Once more this lead to a battle between the two brothers which culminated in much of the surrounding areas of the village of fog being utterly demolished as the two gods changed into different forms, annihilating mountains, hills and rivers simply by running over them. Talorg finally managed to beat his brother into submission however, due to the fact that Taegan's child had not done as good of a job as one had hoped in terms of gaining followers that believed in Taegan. In fact, Naegat had chosen the life of a merchant with few other goblins and departed with them. A feat that was made possible by the fact that he was made from Taegan's flesh and could pass back and forth through the barrier of mist, where others would be left stumbling for days before finding themselves back in the town centre. As Taegan leaned against the remnants of a mountain, feeling his powers fade away due to the low amount of belief in his use, the other gods suddenly took part in the act. Talorg and Taegan both suddenly found themselves in front of the other gods in the plane of existence where they could coexist together and watch over the world, and Talorg was shocked to hear what the gods had planned for his brother. For what he had planned to do, Taegan was to be cast out from the pantheon he belonged to and banished from this world. Talorg protested, stating that the balance would be in danger if there were more gods of light than darkness. Instead, Talorg plead that both he and his brother would be stripped of their powers and turned into mortals. The gods agreed and did this to Talorg first, sending him to travel the earth in the body of a mortal being while still, out of compassion, let him to be in control of some of his powers. They tricked Talorg in the end however, and still hold consensus over the idea of banishing Taegan. Which they then did.

For years Taegan scoured between worlds and planes of existence and time as a creature of darkness, still in possession of his powers however as the other gods had just wished to be rid of him as soon as possible, before finally finding a world with only two deities upon it. A perfect, fertile ground, filled with similar creatures as his previous world had held. Humans, elves, dwarves, so on and so forth. But instead of goblins that had been plentiful in his own world, this world had creatures scurrying around that reminded him of the goblins that had served under him. Creatures that would be later known as the Minionkind.
As to competing gods, that was something for a later date for Taegan took an immediate liking over the minions and decided to become their god. He also allowed into his servitude a multitude of other races, but above all else he visited minions and made himself known to them in his different forms. By implanting a seed of belief with hidden mental images and messages, he made sure that even if the minions would decide to worship either the goddess of elves or the other natural deity of this world for some reason, he would still be believed in. And thus he would not fail again if a confrontation would rise that would be about the amount of the belief a god or goddess had in store. Eventually a confrontation did rise when he made his presence known to the two other gods. The Mother Goddess, the goddess of elves primarily, welcomed him with open arms, though she was cautious as well. The other god, apparently the devoted one of the goddess, did not like Taegan at all and demanded that he leave or else things would get really unpleasant for Taegan and those that Taegan had established a firm connection with. What happened after that is only known in-depth by Taegan, even though Mother Goddess has a vague idea yet her divine rage towards what happened blinds her from seeing the truth.

Now Taegan, along with the Mother Goddess, hold sway over the cycle of light and dark, good and evil, through different means and individuals. Though sometimes these cycles may get out of their control and turn upside down as if it were.

Taegan in any and all forms belongs to me:
