SHERLOCKKKKKK. ughhhhh guys this painting actually looks decent, even though i did it on really crappy paper, but the scan just MURDERED IT. Which is funny, since Sherlock is a consulting detective. Maybe I should put him on the case of why my scanner has it out for my artwork.8"x10" watercolor on (cheap) watercolor paper. At this point I should reaaaally know better and just pay for the good stuff.

Scanners suck, especially when trying to get a decent scan of watercolours
But I can still see how beautiful this is! I especially like the contrast between the muted colours, white background and dark hair, it just makes the image pop really well.

Thank you!! I'm going to try and photograph it in the next couple days and see if I can't get a better representation. The colors are all really delicate, so the scanner just doesn't really pick that up so well.
