First off... you have my utmost respect for this piece of sexy, especially because it's traditional. Traditional is hard as phuwk, trust me, I know... and for your to pull off this sexy jet dog, and shade him this way really shows me the effort you put into this piece; my heart has melted from the warm fuzzies.
The first thing I noticed about this picture were those eyes. I'm not certain what it is about them that is so intriguing, but they certainly make the face the focal point of this picture... with good reason! I love how your implemented the appendages of Blitzovic's body into a jacket, heels, and shorts. they define him so well, and they actually give him some character appeal, despite the bio not yet being present.. (I'm so looking forward to that btw)

I tried my best to make it look like a sonic character! I did however use both forms for his design. I noticed it kinda looked like the collar of a jacket on little Prowser, so that was the first thing that came to mind. I put the fins on his ankles and heels with the thought that he would be a speed character. The shorts were last minute, he was going to have tight "bicycle shorts" but it made him look TOO thin, I'm glad I changed it. Overall I tried my best to stay true to the original design, even though I gave him gloves and a white muzzle.
I'm REALLY happy that you like it! The finished version will be (should be) up this weekend! Along with the WIP for the second challenge

Well... Yes and no. It's for a contest. I took one of 's fake Pokemon and turned him into a sonic character.

I don't know... He's technically a Pokemon, and it seems kinda weird to use a Pokemon along side my other characters... But the sonic style was done by me and as far as I know me and BOS are the ones who own him.

You should give it a try! I recomend Prismacolor pencils, they blend together the best

Currently I am using just a pack of 12 (for this and Lance 2013) should be less than $5... But yeah, they are pretty expensive, but they are probably the best. You can get Roseart or Cryola color pencils, but they don't blend as well - they work, but they aren't Prismacolor
