Name: Hao (Full name unrevealed)
Race: Augmented Human
Hair: Dark green
Eyes: (Left) Brown, (Right) Gold

Citizenship: Citizen on Tekaar, non-existent in Terran databases
Criminal Record: None, though wanted in connection to numerous crimes against military targets. (Wanted: Alive only)
Occupation: Information broker, courier, acquisitions and trader

Background: Not much is known of Hao's personal life, except that he was used for experimentation by the Terran Expeditionary Forces to be an optimized soldier. This was where his knack for 'reading' first surfaced. The Tekaar rescued him and others that were test subjects and since that time, he has been working, doing the 'right' thing by helping people that need it with relief supplies, shipments and the like. He has also been active in sabotaging any efforts the TEF attempt in annexing or subjugating other worlds, and has been quite successful with it.
He came to Gliese 581 for a time to, as he stated, go 'on vacation'. He actually has come into possession of a large amount of supplies, most of which are promised to a client of his. He's merely waiting around for the right time before he heads off again.
Hao was not originally going to help out in Spektre, but he thought he would investigate what was going on, however was ambushed on the way, and even though they left him for dead in his underwear, he made it to the town, with the intent of retrieving what was taken from him.
After some diplomacy of a pugilistic nature, he retrieved his items, and then discovered that the group he took down had a small bounty on their heads. The sheriff offered Hao a job, and he took the bounty he got and paid for damages at the saloon, and also rents a room out from Jim, the town carpenter. He's been doing general help in Spektre while waiting for information on bounties to come in.

Personality: Hao tends to be calm, and takes in the whole situation around him before he decides on a course of action. He is fairly personable and capable of striking up conversations with almost anyone. Hao also is remarkably calm in fights, perhaps due to the augmentation process that he was subjected to.

Special Abilities/Skills: Hao has the ability to 'read' electronics and computers and the like. In essence he can perceive whatever it is that the device in question is processing. This does not expand out to strictly mechanical devices at all, but say, if there was a computer processor at it's core, he would know what it was thinking. He can't probe in, just read. Also, his visual range has been greatly enchanced, and he can perceive energies in a larger scale, the full extent of which is unknown, though he can see clearly in pitch black conditions apparently. It is noted that he needs to keep that eye patch on his right eye, since his power is the reason why he lost his original one. And prolonged exposure without the patch on causes him to bleed from the socket (it causes him pain, but not crippling).
Hao also has a range of technical skills, and has shown to be well versed in repair, armory, and demolitions. Hao is proficient in the use of most weapons, but is not an expert with any really. He is a competent shot, and well, his fighting style is a very efficient form of take-downs, breaks and submission holds (similar to The System). Hao however is quite capable when it comes to intrusion and security systems and methods, since his power lends greatly to it...

Other Notes: Hao has been seen taking doses of some sort of chemical which he has to inject himself with regularly, apparently it's something to ensure that his right eye does not bleed uncontrollably. There is a Nightmare that has been tagging along after him named Pooka. (ref sheet to follow).

Weapons: Hao carries on him usually three weapons. One is a revolver, able to fire standard rounds, single shot, the second is a Mare's Leg (or the equivalent of one), for more stopping power, and lastly he has a high test combat knife he uses. He has been working on trying to get alternate rounds designed fo his guns, and has a few 'tracer' rounds for his revolver (to light up a target).
