I got this feel by a playMight & Magic Heroes VI
by the story come the point that you can't go from you position all unit is by your strongest hero that you not lost to many troops.
and the enemy brings again and again his Hero's with always the same strong in your areas

Because Sky is too strong? Let me list some things for you:
1. He took down an entire franchise trying to wipe the existance of latis
2. Was invited into the group "World's Saviors" Which is a group of the world's strongest and bravest warriors
3. Maximus knows too. much. techniques. and moves!
4. He can probably scan Sky's weaknesses based off his personality, likings, dislikings. All that.
