Well it's likely that I'll either never or anytime soon get hired in such a position simply because all the studios that could benefit from my style are in Japan, which requires that I at LEAST speak fluent Japanese. Even after that there's issues with work visas and stuff and HFF
I think a good way to get my art in a game is to simply make my own game. I think the monster-collecting genre is a good one for a constant stream of profit so I wouldn't mind giving it a shot one day.

Yeah you should totally make your own game. These designs are just incredible. What would be awesome would be if you could make like a fan pokemon game with these designs but even if all the designs were original the name Pokemon itself is copyright. soooo yeah. But anyway these designs really are good.

Yeah, exactly. To be honest I thought about the possibility of taking the pokemon name off them and using the creature designs themselves for an original thing, but since they're designed to fit with the concept of pokemon and how they evolve and look and feel, it would still be far too similar.

I guess you could always modify your designs and how they change form. Since the idea of pet monsters that evolve/transform is hardly new you wouldn't have to change much.
