BEHOLD! The product of one big headache and several brain farts caught in the shit-storm that is my brain. ""OTLHis name is Brahm, and he was supposed to be my character for applying to join . He's a species of Beast-like people who can change into cat-like creatures, and I designed him to be like a scout for whatever guild I choose.
I'll put more info about him if I get down to making the application.
I can't believe how difficult it was to design this guy's outfit... FFFF-
Rough concept is indeed very rough. I barely bothered to color it properly as you can see, let alone clean my lines up. XD
AND OMG IGNORE THAT TERRIBLY DRAWN BACK VIEW, I don't even know what happened there. =A='''

I mean yeah, I already liked his concept/species when you first described him to me and I knew he was gonna look pretty cool with those ears but NNNRRGHHH TO THINK YOU COULD ACTUALLY MAKE A DESIGN THIS EPIC HOLY CRAP MAN!!! I-I'VE FOUND A NEW CHARACTER TO FAN OVER. Seriously, not even kidding. I'm a fan of him now.

Now that I think about it, Brahm would make a pretty good yin for Gin's yang, since the two are so different in personality.
In terms of that "one weakness" we discussed, you could say something like Gin had a cat before, or met people of his species before, and that's how he knew about it. He could discover it by accident too but he'd have to be aiming for the exact spot first...

LOL Knowing Gigi, he wouldn't even have a proper reason for knowing Brahm's weakness. He'd probably just be like "LOL Some gay-looking dude with cat ears, lets pull at them it'll be funny." I guess he thinks animal abuse is funny....? *facepalm*

I was actually kind of surprised when i saw this because the fact the only animal features he has in his human form are cat ears, and your style seems to learn more towards being an anthro when it comes to designs like these (like your bluebird guy).

I think the puffiness of the sleeves and the added lines from the buckles and straps are making it hard to see the bend in the arm/elbow. Maybe if you lose the puffy sleeves it will look better? I'm really liking the outfit design other than the sleeves. His cat-like form is very cute. Love the eyes!

lol, the sleeves were the only things I kept throughout the entire process. I wanted something to add to his silhouette, or else he would just look... twiggy.
And I forbade myself to make another bottom-heavy character via poofy pants, so I tried the opposite this time and added that to his arms instead.
Perhaps I should try drawing him in different poses to see how the arms work before I replace them.
