Description I used a reference for this one, and since I didn't like it in the end, I quit halfway through shading it. The idea was to practice perspective, and anatomy, but, as I said, no sale. I did use the pattern-along-path script, though it wouldn't work on Ubuntu 12.10 for some reason.

EDIT: Now I made it even worse.

EDIT 2: I give up.

If this piece didn't turn out as well as you liked it's still practice and hopefully the next picture you do with Hank's feet will be more to your satisfaction. I like the way Hank's toes turned out though and it's an interesting effect with the hair pattern, so I really don't think this piece is all that bad.

Wow, thanks. It only happens in certain images, and there's no info on what goes wrong, but if I copy the elements from that picture individually, and paste them into another picture, the script works: [link] (the parameters don't make a difference).

OK, send me the svg file where this error happens doctormo@ubuntu.com I happen to work on Inkscape and plugins. That kind of crash is not the script's fault, but Inkscape's and needs to be reported and fixed in their bug tracker.

Okay. Could I also include a file where parts of shapes disappear, and reappear in different amounts of zoom?

I did see it reported as a bug, though it was for the previous version of Ubuntu.
