Description
Inspired by the Film "Rio" I decided to return to painting with crayons instead with my usual combination of a pencil and a black fine liner.The "original" is to be found here: [link]
This picture was only a sort of a first test, it's drawn on paper and photographed by my handy camera *cough* ... I'll probably scan it the other day, so sorry for the bad quality.
EDIT: Updated her beak, made it slightly bigger. Looks much better now in my opinion.

Well if you look at Jewel in that perspective, then it does appear that Jewel is laughing in a maniacal sort of way like Nigel ;/
But then again Jewel usually has this expression if you noticed other portraits of Jewel in a very happy mood

That was a beautiful drawing. Interest in Brazil caused me to hope for a family-friendly film set in Brazil, preferably musical. That made me look forward to the movie in the first place. I never got to see it on the big screen; however, I did get to see part of it while it was being shown in a store, then online, and now I own the 2-Disc Party Edition DVD.

Yeah, I didn't see it on the big screen eighter, the first time I got to watch it was some weeks ago, when a friend brought the DVD. I still don't know how I didn't know about the existance about it for 1 year... >.<
