I don't know how big of a secret it is that I enjoy Beauty and the Beast style romances. Down to earth normal girl meets, guy, guy is a great guy, just happens to be a monster/alien/anthro (I prefer sciencefiction fantasy style anthros). I like seeing the guy in the monster, and do love the more normal, less dramatic/theatrical aspects of the relationships. I really enjoy seeing characters bond.

Is there an actual term for the fondness for these style realtionships?

So anyway this is Julian and Wealtheow (I have not decided if Wealtheow's nickname is going to be Will or Wren). I already have a character named Theo, so Theo's out. Julian's a tyrannosaurus rex, his legs are amputated from the knee down so he gets around via prosthetics, Wealtheow was burnt by an exploding aerosol can when she around ten. She's very self conscious and tries very hard not to be the center of attention, but that's very hard when you're half an inch short of six feet tall. Julian is one of the few people who can get her out of her shell. He can get her to lighten up, can't get her to try his pad thai.

Oh yes, they're both huge dorks.
