I don't know how many times I've stayed up late into the night between studying and rendering fractals, but I know what you mean.

This piece really caught my eye and I love it! It's like a vine of leaves reaching out of the darkness or maybe into it. The earthen coloration is lovely and the clarity is well done! !

Yes, leaves happen when I don't sleep. It's because I'm sitting in a leaf pile rather like your pile of pillows....except of course that my leaf pile is all rustly and crunchy while your pillows are soft and squishy. Just a personal preference, I guess.
