Sure... Because it's not like there's tons of overpowered anime characters. Besides, being OP is such a dumb excuse for anyone to not like a character. I've loved Superman since I was a kid, him beating up the baddies never gets old and I never get bored of it, that's his thing, he's freaking Superman. Now gary stues and plot armored characters like Batman or Deadpool, those I do dislike, because they always manage to win at anything just because they're absurdly popular.
Aniway, anime fans probably don't realize how fucking old the comic book industry is. Of course they're going to have a long list of powerful characters, the shtick is to make them as surprising as possible, that's why they're called SUPERHEROES.
