A masterpiece! The lights and darks are perfect, and the expression on her face is marvelous! She seems to have such a sense of yearning...

Her hair is perfect, the skin tones and the shadows are perfect. I think this is one of your best paintings!

Wow! Thank you, each compliment you send is better than the last I hope that means my work is improving I did work hard on this painting but I think having such a beautiful subject helped. The original photo is what actually inspired me, so I really can't take all of the credit

Thanks, I'm happy with my work but her work is definitely worth having a look at. She is quite individual in her focus on self portraits and a portrayal of different facets of her psyche. I find it quite fascinating to see what she will put up next

I'm really pleased you like it. I think it would be nice to have a series of pieces around you as a subject so hopefully I'll do a few more in different media and perhaps experiment a little

It is so pretty and my boyfriend wondered how much you would sell it for because he wants it! I am not asking for it though because I want you to have it if you plan on taking it in your exhibition.
