I've had this sitting around since like the 2nd week of May. Forgot to take pictures of it and put it up!Well, anyways, the final assignment for my 2-D design was to make something with the use of color. Believe me, he made it sound harder than it was. What I did was pick blue, and with a list of meanings for blue, threw this out on the paper. Mostly peace/harmony, calming, flowing, smooth, etc. Just whatever you feel when you see blue, I guess.
I got an A on it and he said I captured it really well. Idk. I just draw and whatever happens happens.
And of course, it looks way better in real life. It's on big paper again- 18"x24"

Jesse, this is amzing and I truly mean that!
You did such an incredible job on useing blue,
blue and pretty much only blue. The feathers you
have blowing in the wind, coming up to and going
around the wolfs head is just a simple but lovely
touch ^.^ Your snow is so detailed and the background
reminds me of Ice. Like an ice wall, maybe the wolf
is in a cave or something and the walls have been
covered in ice, because of the weather and temp. outside.
I know what I am trying to say but I just can't seem to
make it sound right. 
the detail, lighting and shading sem so perfect in
this peice. You really deserved that A and I can
see why your teacher was impressed with you, on this.
I also adore his fur details and his cold breath <3

That background took FOREVER and I don't even know what I was aiming for! XD I think maybe like a blurry forest or something. I can't recall!

Shae no one else does, I think comments should
be more personalized and not just 'nice job' or 'cool'
They should have some kind of meaning to them and
should let the artist know what you thought of their work.
Hahaha. Sorry it took so long to make it but
at least you bothered to put in a background. Not
alot of artist bother to add backgrounds to their
peices, including myself and I think that a lack
of a background is sometimes hurtful to the peice.
Makes it less meaningful and complete. Blurry forest
sounds alot better then what I say trying to say. XD

XD I know! It's been too long! I just don't finish a lot of my sketches, so that's why I never have anything to put up XD
Ha ha, yeah, I don't really know why it was even called 2-D design or whatever XD I'm not sure that I learned anything. I probably already knew it on accident. XD

And I feel bad, cuz I haven't started your sculpture yet. I was on vacation for a week and came home yesterday. We got a bunch of home improvement to do throughout the summer, but I'm gonna work on it during all of that. I just don't know when it'll be done =\ I'll still keep you updated though, of course! I just apologize beforehand for the delay.
